CARING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIVING FRAMES WITH SUCCULENTS

Description: The living frame with succulents is an arrangement to have plants in a vertical position decorating your home or office. They require relatively low maintenance and is ready to hang on your wall or laid horizontally on a sunny spot. Giving the proper care to your living frame it can last for many years. Succulents are relatively easy plants to care for, but be careful with the watering regime because an excess can drown them.

Location: Your living frame with succulents can be located in a light area indoors, close to windows or maximum 2m away from a light source. You can also locate or hang your living frame outdoor, however avoid heavy weather exposure because that can drown you plants and damage the wooden frame.

Water: With the purchase of your living frame, we provide a watering bottle with a 100 ml capacity. The frequency to water your frame with the bottle is a maximum once a week. To do so, remove your living frame from the position where you located it, put it horizontally, fill the bottle with water to the top and drip small amounts around each plant or in any “hole” between the plants. Let the water drain and dry the frame with a clean cloth. If you see white stains on the frame after watering is a normal situation due to the coating applied to it, which reacts to the water. Once dry, the stains should disappear. When it has drained completely return your living frame to its position.

Other considerations: Succulents are easy to grow plants, that require very little care and maintenance. Since your living frame has beautiful plants, eventually they will over grow the frame. When this happens, you could cut back any extra growth or even remove excessive leaves or small “babies” produced by some of the succulents. If in the worst case some died, you can remove them with a small pair of tweezers and replace with other type of succulent and keep enjoying your living frame.

Twice a year, you can use a very weak solution of a general fertiliser if they require it.
